ABOUT US

Kisslinger Outfitting has been owned and operated since 1981 by Ron and Darney Kisslinger. We started out in Alberta outfitting for whitetails and have been in Saskatchewan since 1987 where trophy size black bears have become our new passion. We would like to thank you for considering Kisslinger Outfitting when looking to book your next TROPHY black bear hunt. Your success and satisfaction are our number one goal. We will be with you every step of the way and you will have generations of experience and expertise to help you take down the trophy animal you’ve been dreaming of.

Our primary residence is in Saskatchewan and our camp is north of the town and just south of the clear water river on hwy 955. We are hands on operation and our work ethic is second to none. Our reputation for being the best of the best when it comes to hunting TROPHY black bears was built over years of hard work, dedication and commitment to providing exciting and adventurous hunts that are both professional and personal. Please let us know if you have any special needs or request and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Choose Kisslinger Outfitting today for your next TROPHY black bear hunt and take advantage of our 800,000 acreas of prime  hunting terraine with another 1,000000 acreas of draw. We are the only outfitter in this area. We offer over 25 bait sites between 6 and 8 miles apart. With six days of hunting you are sure to see 25 to 35 quality bears in mulitiple color ranges.

The one bear per area and nothing shot under 6 ½ feet game management plan that we maintain combined with the plentiful food sources that the bears have access to within our terrine have consistently produced some of the healthiest and biggest black bears in Canada.

North Saskatchewan offers approximately nineteen hours of daylight during the spring which offers optimal visibility and shooting conditions.  Hunts occur late in the afternoon and into the evening from treestands over bait sites.  You can expect your shots to be from 16 to 25 yards.

OUR HUNTS

Our spring bear hunts are the perfect way to relax and enjoy the beautiful Saskatchewan outdoors. You are sure to see a lot of trophy bears and we have killed many ranging anywhere from 7 feet to 8’2. The color phased variety of bears in this area range from blonde, cinnamon, chocolate to black.

Our camps are self contained and electric heated. There is a large cooking/eating area, electric lights, drilled well water, pressure heated showers and an onsite washing machine and dryer. Even though the area we hunt is remote we go the extra mile to make your accommodations as comfortable as possible.

Kissinger Outfitting goes that extra mile to make your hunting experience with us one that will give you memories that will last a lifetime. If you have been dreaming of a huge TROPHY black bear don’t wait book today and let us help make those hunting dreams a reality. You will arrive as a guest and leave a lifelong friend.

Testimonials

If anyone is looking for a black bear hunt that will be the experience of a lifetime Kisslinger Outfitters is the place to go.  From the first day you are treated like family by Darney and all the guides.  I had been on a bear hunt before but this hunt was ten times better in everyway.  The accommodations were nice having a washer and dryer in camp keeps you from having to take so many clothes.  The shower and steam room is wonderful and last but not least is the food.  You will not lose weight on this trip.  Now don’t expect to see one or two bears a day I say twenty different bears the first day.  It was unbelievable the number of bears that came the second day and I saw fifteen bears and the last one to come in was the Pope and Young bear that I was looking for.  I took the bear at twelve yards and he ran ten yards and fell over.  The whole trip was more fun than I could have imagined.  You are taken care of from the first day to the last day.  You can easily see fifty or more bears in a six day hunt.  Anyone looking for a trip of a lifetime please contact Kisslinger Outfitters and you won’t be sorry.  If you would like to ask me any questions about the hunt Darney can give you my number and I would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

I hunted bear in Alberta, Canada in the past.  My best: in 6 days of hunting I saw 22 bears….not bad.
While hunting with Kisslinger Outfitting in Northwest SK. I saw 22 bears the first night…. unbelievable! Our group sat 8 different bait sights the first night and gave a conservative count of 103 DIFFERENT bears….did I say "the first night"!!!  Not only do you see a lot of bears you see a lot of BIG BEARS.
Our camp went 100% with Bow hunters, crossbow, and gun hunters, Kisslinger Outfitters accommodates them all. The food, the guides, and the cabins are all top notch.
I have hunted for over 40 years; this was truly one of my greatest memories, and one of my greatest animals.
Thank you Kisslinger Outfitters, I will be back.

As an avid deer hunter I cannot believe the black bear hunt I had this spring with Kisslinger Outfitters.  I have hunted deer all over the place and this was a truly amazing experience.   I had no idea it would be the most exciting six days (hunted two) I have ever spent in the woods.  I had hunted bear one other time and it was a terrible experience.  This hunt surpassed my wildest expectations. The accommodations and personal attention are first class. The food is excellent!!  You will never go hungry.  The Guides are very knowledgeable and extremely accommodating.  The Entire staff was very professional and treated us like kings.   It was nice to all hang out together around the campfire after a day in the field.  I appreciate all of your hard work. See you next spring.

Simply put, Darney Kisslinger knows bear hunting. One of the best experiences I ever had in a guided hunt. Trophy quality game, great accommodations and awesome guides. A true north woods adventure. If it is a trophy class black bear you are after there is no other place to go!

I have been on a lot of hunts, guided and non guided and Kisslinger Outfitters is simply the best. I don't think you could ever find a place with more bears or bigger bears on average. If you are serious about bear hunting, this is definitely the place.
