Our hunting area is near the town of Wainwright, Alberta, approximately three hours southeast of Edmonton, Alberta. Surrounded by farmland, rolling hills and the famous Battle River, this area possesses all the natural habitat required to produce quality trophy whitetail deer, mule deer, moose as well as thousands of ducks & geese.

One of our main attractions is exclusive access to over 70 quarter sections of (deeded) private property for our whitetail deer, mule deer, moose and waterfowl hunts. Limited hunting pressure, a good food source, plenty of cover and exclusive access are all keys to a quality hunt!

Bowhunting Whitetail Deer & Mule Deer

We provide archery whitetail deer bowhunting and mule deer bowhunting with exclusive access to over 50 quarter sections of (deeded) private property. Limited hunting pressure, a good food source, plenty of cover and exclusive access are all keys to a quality deer hunt.



Our bowhunts take place in September and October when the deer are still in their bachelor herd and there is an excellent chance of shooting one in the velvet. The deer are coming out to feed on the green crops and are easily patterned this time of year. Our hunting lodge is located two hours southeast of Edmonton in Wainwright, Alberta on private deeded property. Waterfowl Hunting



Alberta River Valley Lodge provides waterfowl hunts, duck hunts, Canada goose hunts, snow goose and white fronted goose hunts in Alberta Canada.

Alberta River Valley Lodge, located approximately 150 miles southeast of Edmonton, Alberta, is situated in the picturesque Battle River Valley. Surrounded by farmland, sloughs and small lakes, this area boasts a variety of migratory waterfowl that enjoy the abundant food supply and shelter that this particular habitat has to offer. One of our main attractions is exclusive access to over 52 quarter sections of prime hunting land specifically designed to attract and hold the birds! We offer shoots over water as well as on land, utilizing the most up to date techniques and equipment!



Canada's, Snow's and White fronted geese are plentiful here during the fall migration. This area of Alberta is also the main resting ground for a large variety of ducks. Our season begins in early September and ends in late October. The weather can vary somewhat during this time of year, but as a general rule, the days are mild with the evenings cooling off, sometimes freezing.
